Although this 40 year old patient was fit and had a low BMI, she had visible fat in her flanks, and a small amount of fat on her abdomen.  She initially had liposuction on her abdomen and flanks, in which 300cc’s of fat was removed.  This reduced the bulk, but did not give her the definition she wanted.  The post lipo photos were at 7 months.  She then had 4 applications of CoolSculpting on her back flanks, and 3 on her abdomen to “sculpt” her body.  Post 2 months, the patient is clearly more defined after CoolSculpting.  The two procedures complemented each other in de-bulking and then fine tuning.
