This female patient had significant abdominal hang, but not very much abdominal laxity.  To correct her issues, Dr. Janssen performed an extended moderate abdominoplasty with liposuction.  With a moderate abdominoplasty, there is no stomach tightening as in a formal abdominoplasty.  The removed pannus weighed more than 8 pounds. Liposuction took off an additional 650mL of fat.  The patient was almost immediately happy with the results, and was wearing a bikini in less than three months.
