Because this 35 year old patient was relatively sedentary, she had excess fat in her abdomen and thighs.  This patient originally came to us a year ago for a CoolSculpting consult.  She was not a good candidate for CoolSculpting, so she opted for liposuction of her abdomen, hips, and thighs a year later.  She could have benefited from a moderate abdominoplasty, but preferred a less invasive technique.  The more fat which was liposuctioned, the looser her skin would be, so the surgeon had to determine a good balance of fat loss with skin elasticity.  Dr. Janssen removed approximately 800g of fat from her abdomen, 400g from each hip, 700g from each outer thigh, and 300g from each inner thigh.  The 5 week post op photos show a wonderful result with a significant decrease in volume and no rippling.
