This 27 year old male patient’s breasts were tender with a lot of discomfort that could become painful.  There was also some drainage at times, which had been going on for the past couple years.  The patient had racket ball size breast buds.  He had a bilateral gynecomastia procedure with excision of the breast buds and liposuction to the anterior chest wall.  Combining breast bud excisions and liposuction, 280 grams were resected on the right side, and 294 grams on the left side.  Dr. Janssen made curvilinear infra-areolar incisions on the lower half of the areola to remove the dense breast bud.
