This 58 year old patient had suffered from back, neck, and shoulder pain from her large breasts.  She had deep shoulder strap marks, and had seen a chiropractor, orthopedic surgeon, and a physical therapist for pain relief.  Dr. Janssen performed a bilateral mammary reduction with liposuction.  970g of tissue was excised from the right breast, and 988g from the left.  With liposuction, 300 mL of fat was removed from the right, while 250 mL was removed from the left.  One day after surgery, the patient stated her normal breathing and her discomfort from her breasts had already improved.  Within one week, she felt that her neck, back and shoulder pain were greatly improved, and she was very happy with the results.
