Oshkosh, Wis. – September 6, 2006 – Fox Valley Plastic Surgery will break ground for its new two-story, 23,000 square foot Renaissance Surgery Center and MediSpa.
The ceremony will be held on September 7, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at 2400 Witzel Avenue in Oshkosh.
Planned, designed and constructed by Hoffman (www.hoffman.net), the Center features an indoor drop-off and pick-up area and three surgery rooms equipped with laser technology and anesthesia monitoring equipment. The MediSpa includes three day spa rooms to provide medical and wellness care in a spa-inspired atmosphere.
The design of the Center is influenced by Tuscan and Renaissance architecture. Signature features include: interior tile imported from Italy, a hand-painted dome of Michelangelo’s Creation of Man, exterior and interior columns, stucco, and red barrel roofing tiles.
Charlie Fredrickson, team leader for the project, believes the new Center will have long-term functionality and appeal for the practice. He states, “We analyzed the patient and staff experience prior to the start of the design to provide Fox Valley Plastic Surgery with objective data necessary to make appropriate business and design decisions with the result being a patient-focused, unique and inspirational Center.”
