Oshkosh, Wisconsin – Over 1200 people, living as close as Oshkosh to as far as Rhinelander, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois, attended the open house events from September 13-15 for the new cosmetic surgery facility for Fox Valley Plastic Surgery, the Renaissance Surgery Center and Renaissance Medispa.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the facility was held September 14 at noon. Burk Tower, Deputy Mayor, publicly recognized the practice for their innovative choice to become the first business in the city of Oshkosh to use an underground water detention system for efficient management of storm water run off. Dr. David Janssen thanked the staff for their vision, tenacity and commitment to the project.
The public open house was hosted Saturday, September 15 from noon to 4 pm. Local high school and middle school students posed as patients, doctors and nurses in the patient bay and operating room. The self-guided tour highlighted the architectural and functional elements of the building, including to the attached garage for patients, tinted windows, and the hand-painted dome of Michelangelo’s Creation of Man.
