Wisconsin Tummy Tuck
For some people there's just no getting around genetics. All the dieting, Friday night fish fry fasting and crunches in the world won't remove a stubborn layer of fat in the lower abdomen. For other people, there's an additional hurdle to deal with after weight loss — sagging skin that just won't rebound. And for many women, there's just no way to regain a toned tummy once the abdomen has stretched to accommodate childbearing.
If one of these scenarios fits you, don't give up. There are two options to improve the look of your midsection — it's called a full tummy tuck or a moderate tummy tuck. And these procedures may be a lot easier and more affordable than you think.

Full Tummy Tuck Defined
A full tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, removes fat, tightens abdominal muscles and removes excess skin all in one procedure. The surgeon makes an incision in your lower abdominal wall, separates skin from the tissues underneath, makes the adjustments you've agreed on, and applies sutures and dressings. Abdominoplasty takes a few hours or less, depending on the extent of the surgery.
Moderate Tummy Tuck Defined
A Custom Procedure Available only from Fox Valley Plastic Surgery
Dr. David Janssen of Fox Valley Plastic Surgery performs a moderate abdominoplasty for people who don't need the muscle tightened, removing fat and excess skin. Dr. David Janssen reviews your abdomen and determines if the full tummy tuck with muscle tightening or a moderate tummy tuck without muscle tightening will provide the best result.
A moderate tummy tuck is still a formal abdominoplasty performed under sedation. The muscle is not surgically altered, making it an ideal procedure for people who need to quickly get back to work or caring for children. The moderate tummy tuck was created by Fox Valley Plastic Surgery and is a special procedure that (to the best of our knowledge) is not performed elsewhere.
Fox Valley Plastic Surgery is pleased to offer both the full abdominoplasty and moderate abdominoplasty procedures for patients in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
