Procedures Depicted: Endovenous Laser Ablation Sclerotherapy

This 60 year old male patient had aches, pain, heaviness, tiredness, fatigue, itching, burning, swollen ankles, leg cramps, throbbing and restlessness in both legs. It was clearly worse in his left leg.  The patient was treated with EVLA, echo sclerotherapy, and high thigh ligation.  This was a difficult case in which more varicosities developed after his condition was initially resolved.  He had a job that required standing all day long. Varithena was used in subsequent sclerotherapy procedures to resolve his symptomatic varicose veins.
