Procedures Depicted: Endovenous Laser Ablation Sclerotherapy

This 51 year old female patient, who had a family history of vein disease, had varicose veins in both legs. Bulges were visible on her calves. The pain made her unable to walk distances, and difficult to stand. Both legs were treated with echo sclerotherapy with ultrasound guidance, and endovenous laser ablation for incompetent perforators. This treatment plan brought complete occlusion of the varicosities.
