Procedures Depicted: Breast Reduction Breast Reconstruction

Right oncoplastic breast reduction and left breast reduction.  With a family history of cancer, this 71 year old patient had right breast cancer.  Her general surgeon removed 25g from the right breast with a lumpectomy.  Plastic surgeon Dr. Doubek resected an additional 38g of breast tissue from the right breast with a Wise pattern incision.  To obtain a symmetric appearance to the right breast, a left breast reduction was also performed.  91g of left breast tissue was removed.  Because the patient had radiation therapy on her right breast two weeks prior, there is redness on that breast in the after photos.
