Procedures Depicted: Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) Liposuction

This 56 year old patient was unhappy with her abdominal profile, and wanted to get rid of the skin flap. She wanted her clothes to fit better. Upon examination, her abdominal muscles did not need tightening, so the surgical plan was an extended moderate abdominoplasty (without muscle tightening) with hip liposuction. A total of 2980 g of tissue was removed in the abdominal pannus. Liposuction removed a total of 2200 mL of fat.
